Jose Avolos

Jose is anticipated to join as a full-time attorney in 2028 after he spends one year after graduation working in a judge’s office under a judicial clerkship program. He is currently the firm’s law clerk and assists with overflow matters, drafting, and legal research under John’s supervision and mentorship.

Jose will be in his final, third year of law school this fall, and is currently ranked as the Top 17% in his law school class. He is from Hereford, where his parents still live and where he was surrounded by the cattle industry growing up. Jose was a USDA meat inspector and a math teacher in between finishing college and going to law school. Jose graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Public Policy, where he was a Research Assistant at the Stanford King Center, the Vice President of the Conservative Society and a Constitutional Officer of the College Republicans.

In his free time, he enjoys reading fantasy and classical literature, watching movies, playing video games, and creative writing. Jose speaks, reads, and writes Spanish fluently.
